How Do I Book a Session?
Click on the 'Book Now' button found on the Services tab, fill out the inquiry form on the 'Contact Us' page or use the client portal at https://sacredspaces.teletherapy.io to work with either of us.
The email address listed on the top right corner of the page is the best way to get in touch. We will get back to you with our availability and book you in at the earliest.
What Approaches Do You Use?
Shaniah: I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) for individuals and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couple's therapy. In the treatment of trauma, I especially utilize IFS, AEDP and Somatic-based approaches. I also incorporate tenets from The Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Motivational Interviewing when providing you with more concrete tools and homework assignments.

Andrew: I use approaches like Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) along with tools like breath-work and mindfulness. I also draw heavily from Eastern influences in my utilization of body-based practices for therapy.

What are your fees?
Our fees are based on the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) recommended fee schedule. This designation allows those with third-party insurance subsidizing RCC rates to have part or all counselling fees covered:

Individual 50-minute session: $151.75
Individual 75-minute session: $186.75
Psychedelic Integration: $151.75
Couple's 50-minute session: $161.75
Couple's 75-minute session: $237.75

Reduced Rate slots are subject to availability.
What Can I Expect Our Sessions to Look Like?
Since we are experiential therapists, our sessions will be a combination of talk therapy and experiential exercises to help connect you to the experience of what is coming up for you. We also favour collaboration in therapy, using a combination of directive and non-directive counselling.
